The Asana advisors is a community of Asana employees who have volunteered to help Asana Nonprofit Discount recipients get the most from Asana’s work management platform. If your organization is a recipient of the Asana Nonprofit Discount, our volunteer advisors are here to help you! Learn about or apply for the Asana Nonprofit Discount today. We call our Asana advisor volunteers "advisors" but use the term interchangeably with "volunteer" in certain instances.
Nonprofit organizations who are recipients of the Asana Nonprofit Discount can join the Asana advisors portal and request to work with an advisor.
This one-hour advisor session is ideal for new users, first-time admins, or teams who need help setting up work in Asana. If you would like additional help, we encourage you to discuss an action plan with your advisor to see if it's the right fit. If not, feel free to book another session with a different advisor who might be better suited to your needs.
To make the most of your one-hour advisor session, share as much information as possible about your current Asana usage and any challenges or questions you have. We encourage you to include the following information:

advisors are Asana employees volunteering their time to ensure your organization is successful with Asana. Each advisor has been trained on how to help with your questions, or direct you to the right people who can help if they’re unable to.
You can expect to receive an email response from your advisor within 3 business days. Your one-hour advisor session will likely take place via video call or in person if possible for both parties. The advisor will work with you to understand your organization’s needs and discover how they can help. If your needs are limited to troubleshooting or Asana basics training this conversation should be all you need. If you’d like additional guidance, your advisor may be able to help define next steps and direct you to additional resources. Any follow-up actions or additional conversations should be mutually agreed upon by you and your advisor.

The Asana advisors is your chance to give back and use your skills for good! Whether you have 1 or 10 hours a month, you’ll help nonprofit organizations do more with Asana. Other benefits include: meeting other advisors, growing as a leader through interactions with many types of nonprofit organizations, and learning about organizations you may not typically encounter.
We view the Asana advisors program as a direct extension of Asana’s mission to help humanity thrive by enabling all teams to work together effortlessly. Asana advisors was launched in November 2018 to support and help nonprofit organizations get the most from Asana. We wanted to create a scalable way for employees to give back while utilizing their unique skills and knowledge.
