Kasra Koushan

I'm a product engineer at Asana. I've spent the majority of my time at Asana working with engineers, product managers, and designers to build new features in the Asana product. Prior to working at Asana, I studied computer science at the University of Pennsylvania.

I'm passionate about products that enable users to be more effective at their work, elegant solutions to software problems, and well-designed interfaces (both in software and in the physical world). I've previously interned at Khan Academy as a software engineer and at Google as an associate product manager, and completed my bachelor's and master's degrees in computer science at Penn. I'm excited about applying technology to help us solve some of our societal challenges and to enable human creativity. I'm also a long-term meditator and view mindfulness as a central tenet of the way I approach my work and my life.
