Patricia Sugi

I am a Nonprofits Operations Specialist here at Asana. I support the continued growth and success of our Asana Nonprofit Discount customer base, Asana Advisors program, strategic nonprofit partnership network, and general nonprofit focused customer marketing and revenue enablement.

Prior to that, I was working with our User Operation Team, where I’ve provided technical support to our customers in order to empower them to achieve their goals.
I went to college in France where I studied political science and international journalism.

I’m passionate about gender equality – women and adolescent girls’ empowerment for equal opportunities and access to resources. Before Asana, I worked for International nonprofits such as Girl Effect, an NGO that works to empower young and adolescent girls with knowledge and resources that positively impact their health, education, and financial stability. During my 3 years at Girl Effect, I led an editorial team and 8 girl-journalists and supported the girls in developing their journalism skills and voicing the stories of their communities.

My everyday philosophy is to give back what I’ve learned to folks that need it the most. I find that there’s no better way to fulfill that philosophy at Asana than by working with essential nonprofit companies that are doing great work in this world.
